Losing or severely damaging teeth shouldn’t spell the end of your smile. It shouldn’t mean meal times become opportunities to worry about which food you can chew and which will get trapped in a gap. Having missing or damaged teeth shouldn’t mean time has been called for smiling, speaking, laughing, and loving life.
If you have lost or damaged teeth, we can help.
With high-quality, custom-made crowns and bridges, you can move on from the negative experiences of dental trauma, infection, and decay and love your smile again.
Crowns are tooth-like caps that cover damaged teeth or complete single dental implants. Each crown is made to fit perfectly and can be made from metal, resin, or porcelain. Once in place, a crown will preserve your natural tooth for years, preventing future decay while looking good and improving your confidence.
Metal crowns are solid, perfect for those hard-working molars out of sight at the back of your mouth.
Resin crowns are cost-effective cosmetic solutions. While they’re not as durable, they look great on visible teeth.
Porcelain crowns are fantastic all-rounders. Durable and life-like, most people can’t tell the difference between a porcelain crown and the real thing.

A bespoke porcelain crown replicates the look and feel of the natural tooth, giving it a fresh lease of life. Porcelain crowns are almost indistinguishable from the rest of your smile.
Crowns are designed to last. With the proper routine care, your crown will enjoy a long reign lasting 10-15 years.
Teeth capped with crowns benefit from extra protection against decay and infection. Crowns provide a new surface for damaged teeth that prevents bacteria from entering the tooth.
Dental problems leave you self-conscious about smiling, eating in public, talking, and laughing. Crowns let you enjoy life again without having to worry about your teeth.

As with every procedure at Bella Dental, we’ll begin with a full assessment of your teeth to ensure this is the appropriate treatment.
Before placing your crown, we will prepare the tooth by removing some of the outer surface and shaping it. Don’t worry, we’ll provide anaesthetic so there’s no pain.
Our on-site lab will then expertly create your new crowns using information gathered from the impressions we take.
Once your crown is ready, we’ll firmly bond it into position, ensuring it looks great and feels comfortable.

Bridges complete your smile by replacing missing teeth. Every bridge has a custom-made tooth called a ‘pontic’ and a support structure.
The pontic is often supported by crowns placed on healthy adjacent teeth. Sometimes, the bridge takes support from metal wings behind the teeth. There are three commonly used types of bridges.
Traditional bridges are supported by crowns on both sides of the pontic.
Cantilever bridges are used when only one tooth is available to support the bridge.
Maryland bridges use metal frames fixed with composite resin to the backs of the neighbouring teeth.

Losing teeth impacts your ability to bite and chew. When you have a bridge, the days of carefully considering meals based on your ability to chew them will be long gone. Whether it’s crunchy or chewy, you can enjoy it again.
Bridges don’t just improve the appearance of your smile—they help protect it against gum disease, cavities, and infection. Replacing missing teeth makes cleaning them easier, reducing bacteria build-ups.
Completing your smile will help you feel good about yourself. And, when you look in the mirror or go anywhere in public, you won’t worry about how your teeth look. Bridges look natural and feel like the real thing too.
When we build bridges, we ensure the foundation is firm. Bridges can last for many years. Our on-site lab uses high-quality materials. When combined with our bridge placement skills, the resulting smile is steadfast.

Before we begin, we’ll assess the treatment area and determine which bridge best suits your needs. After taking the necessary scans and planning steps, we’ll prepare the supporting teeth. In the case of traditional and cantilever bridges, this typically means removing some of the enamel to create space for the crowns.
Our on-site lab will construct the perfect bridge for your smile. Once it’s ready, we’ll bond it into position.
During your procedure, we’ll provide a local anaesthetic to ensure maximum comfort.

Michael provides a very professional service. After investigating a number of options to address my quite challenging implant requirements. He worked with me to create a personalised plan to deliver what I had asked for. I am now one year post completion of my implants and very happy with the results.
I came to Bella Dental with concerns about an implant that had been placed many years ago (not by Michael), which was causing me significant discomfort and anxiety. From the very beginning, Michael and his amazing team were incredibly attentive, reassuring, and thorough. They took the time to listen, explain everything clearly, and made sure I felt comfortable and at ease throughout, while fully resolving the issue.Since then, I've had two implants placed by Michael, and I am extremely happy with the final results. The care, professionalism, and attention to detail have been outstanding, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bella Dental to anyone looking for excellent dental care!
My crown fell out, and I was able to have it reattached in less than a day, which I'm very grateful for. The reception team are always so patient and polite, making the whole experience much better. Michael is a great doctor, and I truly appreciate the care I've received here. I also had my implant done here a year ago - so far so good
Everything patients usually ask before starting their treatment. Can't see your question? We're happy to talk it through.
A crown is a cap that fits over a single damaged, weak or heavily filled tooth to restore its shape and strength. A bridge replaces one or more missing teeth by anchoring a false tooth to the teeth (or implants) either side of the gap. Put simply: a crown rebuilds a tooth you still have, while a bridge fills a space where a tooth has been lost.
With good care, both typically last around ten to fifteen years, and often longer. What makes the biggest difference is the everyday basics - brushing and cleaning between your teeth, keeping up your hygiene visits, and not using your teeth to bite very hard objects. Because ours are made in our on-site lab from high-quality materials, we've got close control over the fit and finish, which helps them last.
The tooth is numbed with local anaesthetic first, so you shouldn't feel any pain while we prepare it and fit the restoration. Afterwards some mild sensitivity for a few days is normal and settles quickly. Most people find the appointment far more straightforward than they expected, and we'll talk you through each step as we go.
Yes - that's a big part of what our on-site lab is for. Porcelain crowns and bridges are colour-matched to the teeth around them and shaped to suit your smile, so they blend in rather than stand out. For most people, once it's fitted you genuinely can't tell which tooth has been restored.
With our on-site lab, a keen eye for detail, and exceptional levels of care, we’ll produce and place the perfect crown or bridge to restore your smile. Call today to schedule your appointment.
